A Mix of things

I have been making all kinds of cards and these cute purses to give to some people at my work.  Unfortunately, i totally forgot to take pictures so i asked one of the ladies to take some.  So for the purses i used the top note die and the scallop die and cut a 3 3/4 in circle of dsp with the circle cutter.  For the first purse on the left i used old olive and pumpkin pie cardstock and Island Oasis dsp.  I decorated it with the Tropical Party Stamp set (clear #120081 or wood #118515) and the birthday sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370.  I also used the scallop oval and oval punches.  The final touch was the certainly celery ribbon for the handle.  For a full tutorial please see this blog.  The purse on the right i used so saffron cardstock and shades of Spring dsp for the purse and pixie pink cardstock for the flower.  I used the scallop oval punch and the perfect punches stamp set (clear #120516 and wood #117022).  I also used the 5-petal flower punch to make the flower and the boho blossoms punch and clear brad to finish it off.  The card was made with chocolate chip, crushed curry, garden green and very vanilla cardstock.  I used the square lattice embossing folder for the crushed curry and stamped the sentiment with Pun Fun #115054 in chocolate chip and finished the card with certainly celery ribbon.  The picture on the bottom is what my husband made to give out as thank you cards.

Happy Birthday Tri-Fold

I thought i would add this one on here as well as i just love these tri-fold cards.  I had made this one for my mom before we actually made the card in the class I spoke of in my last post.  For the tutorial click here.

Happy Birthday

This is a card that i made at a class i was in, so i definitely can't take the credit for creating it.  I really love the tri-fold on this card though. The colors if i remember correctly were almost amethyst, old olive and so saffron.  I used the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set #111564 and the sentiment was from Well Scripted.  I used the Butterfly punch #119848 for the butterflies and added some rhinestones (these were from walmart).  For a tutorial of this card, please see here.  Another thing i really like about this card is that there are so many places to decorate and embellish.  This card could have so much more added to it, but i kind of like it the way it is.

With Sympathy

I am saddened that I had to make this card in the first place, but i like that way it turned out; simple and understated.  I used the new in color, concord crush, and very vanilla cardstock.  The peacock and sentiment were stamped in concord crush ink, and i added an ivory colored ribbon.  The sentiment was from Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370 and the peacock was from Very Thankful.  I also used the scallop trim border #118402.

Bridal Shower

So i haven't given this card out yet, so hopefully she doesn't see it here before she gets it. ha ha..I made this card for a very dear friend that is getting married in a couple of weeks and her shower is this saturday :) I am so happy for her!!!  On this card i used kraft (now crumb cake) and bermuda bay (retired) cardstock.  I am so sad that berumda bay is retired, I really liked this color.  I used a cuttlebug embossing folder called swirls and the ribbon was from walmart.  I used the modern label #119849 and 5-petal flower #119880 punches.  I stamped some tissue paper with the itty bitty backgrounds stamp set (retired) in bermuda bay.  The sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes #115370.  I used a brad from SU and the rhinestones from walmart.  I hope she likes it because I am really excited about how it turned out :)

Baby Girl

I have been busy making more baby cards.  All my friends seem to be having babies, which is great and it gave me a chance to use the new stamp set Baby Bundle #120576 for clear or #118525 for wood a couple of times so far. :)  I love this stamp set it is so cute.  For this card i used certain celery cardstock,  kraft (which is now called crumb cake), and cameo coral (retired).  The punches were the pinking hearts border #117649 and the scallop oval XL #119856.  The ink i used was basic brown, cameo coral and versamark.
